Chief Harrison Jessa To Igbakpa: We Will Support You

A community leader in Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief (Amb.) Harrison Jessa, has promised to continue to support the project of Hon. Ben Igbakpa, a frontline aspirant in the race to represent the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, come 2019.

Chief Jessa who spoke when Hon. Igbakpa and his teeming supporters visited him at his Abraka residence yesterday, added that he was convinced that he (Igbakpa) was the only qualified person fit to occupy that office.

He urged the House of Representatives hopeful to rally round the delegates in the area to garner their support during the primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP next month, adding that he will do his best also to influence those in his ward and others to enable him emerge the party’s candidate.

Jessa said: “I have worked for PDP since the time of Ibori and I have nothing to show for my loyalty to the party and my unflinching support for many of the party’s candidates in several elections after they emerged winners.”

Responding, Hon. Igbakpa said that the visit was an opportunity to say thank you to Chief Jessa for throwing his weight behind him to see that the project sails through.

He continued: “I am in the race to win and I promise not to neglect those that stand by me after I emerge at the end of it all. Those that know me well know that I keep my promises.”

The list of PDP stalwarts present during the consultative meeting include: Mr. Vincent Eyakware, Secretary, PDP, Ethiope East Local Government Area, Chief Sunday Emese, Hon. Joshua Atigogo, aspirant, Delta State House of Assembly, Ethiope East Constituency and a host of others.
