Man Caught In The Act With Elder Brother’s Wife In Warri

A middle aged man was allegedly caught having carnal knowledge of his elder brother’s wife (all names withheld) in a Warri community in the early hours of Friday August 7, 2020.

It was gathered that the wife of the alleged adulterous man was praying when she heard moaning noise from one of the husband’s uncompleted upstairs signaling that sexual intercourse was going on .

It was learnt that the duo are neighbours living in same premises but had eyes for each other before they were caught in the real act.

According to report, God must have answered her prayers of knowing who her husband was, as after her prayers, she was said to have tiptoed to one of the rooms of the uncompleted upstairs where she alleged to have seen her husband committing the act with the brother’s wife.

Report said she immediately raised alarm that attracted her children who joined her in giving the alleged adulterous woman the beating of her life while the man took to his heels.

Our correspondent approached the husband of the woman that was accused of committing adultery for comments but he denied knowledge of the incident.

However, after our correspondent’s encounter with the estranged man, the community was agog with protest by members of married women otherwise known as Eghweya who sang and rained curses on the said adulterous duo.

Their first point of call was the residence of the accused woman but they did not meet her as she was said to have escaped her country home in Udu Local Government Area.

The protesting mothers then proceeded to the residence of the accused man who they met his absence as he had also vanished into thin air.

The aggrieved protesting mothers/married women continued with their action the following day as they went to the residence of the acting traditional representative of the traditional ruler of the area on Saturday August 8, 2020 but they did not meet him.

However, a spokesperson of the aggrieved women, who simply identified herself as Mrs Ekele, while confirming the incident, explained that they carried out the action because the adulterous woman had brought shame and disgrace to them being a member of the association.

She disclosed that the accused woman would not only be sanctioned but face other severe disciplinary actions from the association.

More troubles await the said adulterous duo as a highly placed chief of the community disclosed that the man and woman would be made to traditionally cleanse Warri community.

Meanwhile, the estranged husband of the said adulterous woman had thrown out her belongings from his house at the time of filling this report.
