U.S. Executes 40-Year-Old Brandon Bernard For Crime Committed When He Was 18
Brandon Bernard is a 40 year old man who was given capital punishment of death penalty by the US government on Thursday 10th December, 2020.
The death penalty came after he spent 17 years in prison for the crime he committed way back in 1999 when he was only 18 years old.
Bernard Brandon was found guilty in the year 2000 after he and his gang members murdered pastor Todd and Stacie Bagley in 1999 when he was 18 years old.
The attack was meant to be a robbery operation, but the group leader, Christopher Vialva ordered that the couple must be killed.

The teenagers then shot the couple and Bernard Brandon and one of the partner were told to burn the car and erase any trace.
But unfortunately for them, way back evidence revealed that Stacey died because of smoke inhalation which was discovered in her respiratory system.
This ugly incident now made the court to serve Brandon the capital punishment of death penalty. Even though Brandon’s prosecutors that defended him made it known that Stacey was medically dead before the car was burnt.
Meanwhile, Brandon Bernard was already a changed person before his execution and people were requesting for his execution to be changed to life imprisonment as he wasn’t actually the person that shot the two ministers and also considering his age back then.
However, Brandon Bernard apologized to the family of the two ministers, as he said he was truly sorry, and also added that he doesn’t have much to say other than to say sorry.
The mother of late Stacy however thanked the federal government of the United States for helping the family find justice after so many years.
