Councillors Forum Says Choice Of Hon Vrati As Adamawa APC Chair Is In The Interest Of Justice, Fair Play

A communique issued by the forum of former and serving All Progressives Congress (APC) councillors has considered the former Chairman of Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa state, Hon. Vrati S. Nzonzo as the choice of the people of Numan federation.

The councillors from Numan federation, Southern Senatorial zone in their communique signed by Hon Zaro C Alexander, said the resolutions were made in the interest of justice, equity, fair play and overall success of the party which is capable of ushering an unprecedented electoral victory to the APC, come 2023 general elections.

The local council legislators also said that the choice of Hon. Vrati S. Nzonzo as already recommended by most party stalwarts, interest groups from the area and many parts of the state is based on credibility, capacity experience, merit and commitment to lead the party to lofty heights.

The 2016-2018 and 2019- 2021 the political wards representatives took the decision during their 5th quarterly meeting in Numan where the Forum in its deliberations on the coming congresses made critical review of so many issues.

Their views toward the APC party in Adamawa state and other happenings within the party, especially series of events and projects lined up for the purpose of re-energizing, re-strategizing and rejigging the APC for better performance said Vrati have the possible solution.

The forum hereby resolved as follows:
“Members unanimously agreed on the need for unity among former councilors of Numan Federation 2016 – 2018 and 2019 – 2021 set

“That as loyal members of the APC we are committed to supporting all organs of the party at various levels to succeed in the execution of all its programmes and projects.

“That preparatory to the forthcoming Congresses, our party should ensure, justice, fairness equity and transparency in electing a new set of leaders that will pilot the affairs of the party for another four(4) year term.

“That the forum has adopted hook, line and sinker the communiqué issued on 21st June, 2021 by the COALITION OF CONCERNED APC MEMBERS IN NUMAN FEDERATION (LAMURDE, NUMAN, DEMSA, GUYUK, AND SHELLENG LGA’s) on the need to zone the state chairmanship of the party to the southern Senatorial District and in particular vote a capable hand from Numan Federation as a matter of serious political strategy.

“That in the light of our collective call above, we hereby further endorse the Candidature of Hon. Vrati S. Nzonzo from Lamurde Local Government Area for the state Chairmanship position of APC Adamawa State Chapter come September, 2021 State Congress elections.

“We wish to reinstate our sincere loyalty and appreciation to the leadership of our party at all levels in Adamawa state and also to our National Care-Taker/Extra ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) for their treamendous achievements throughout the country within a short period of time.

“We have no doubt that at the end of the tenure of CECPC,, APC will be bigger, better and well repositioned for greater achievements.

“To all our stakeholders and noble party compatriots, we most humbly invite all and sundry into our shared vision of a stronger and united APC in Adamawa state.”
