The Presiding Bishop of Calvary Kingdom Church International, Lagos and Presiding Archbishop of United International Association of Pentecostal Bishops (UIAPEB), The Most Rev (Dr.) Joseph Ojo JP, has consecrated the Senior Pastor, Peculiar Cathedral Church Incorporated, Obiaruku, Delta State, Reverend Felix Mikopoyibo and General Overseer, Echoes From Mercy-Seat Church, Umutu, Delta State, Reverend Duke Akpotowho, as bishops.

The epoch ceremony took place on Friday at Echoes From Mercy-Seat Church.

Anointed men of God in attendance at the well attended event include Bishop Onyeka Dore-Fidelis Agbabi, Bishop Irabor Wisdom and Bishop Asemota Ame.

Delivering the sermon, Archbishop Ojo, who took his text from Titus 1.2-8, laid emphasis on the importance of the ceremony, saying that the two clerics selected for the consecration have shown themselves to be people with integrity.

He added: “A man that puts on the attire of a bishop without anyone putting it on him is just like a masquerade.”

Continuing, he urged the new bishops to continue to look after the churches under them, adding that with this promotion, greater results will be achieved, just as he called on their flocks to give them the needed support to carry out the new demands on them.

Immediately after the church service, a reception was held at Quality Group of Schools, Obiaruku to celebrate Bishop Mikpoyibo’s consecration.

In attendance were clerics, community leaders, school owners and others.
