Delta Justice Ministry Inaugurates Audit Committee

Audit committee members inaugurated for the Ministry of Justice by the Functioning Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the ministry,, Omamuzo Erebe Esq.

Delta State Ministry of Justice has inaugurated a six man audit committee for smooth operational procedures.

The committee members include Mrs Abidemi Ekpemina as Chairman; Mr Wallace Amafaye, Mrs. Patience Riebelle, Mr Japhet Enyi and Mrs Maris Obahor as members, while Mr. Nelson Omiyi is to serve as Secretary.

The Functioning Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Omamuzo Erebe Esq, while constituting the members in his office at the new secretariat in Asaba, said that it was in compliance with session 14 of the audit law that ensured smooth internal operations of ministries.

He charged the committee members to do their job diligently, assuring that the ministry would assist with all they required to do a successful job.

He advised staff of the ministry not to interfere, nor interrupt members of the committee in the discharge of their duties, warning that such interference would not be condoned.

Responding on behalf of others, the Chairman of the committee, Mrs Ekpemina Esq, appreciated Erebe Esq and the ministry for the confidence reposed in them, assuring that they will not let the ministry down.

She appealed to the members to do all they could in assisting her to do a thorough job to reciprocate the kind gesture of the ministry that had found them worthy of carrying out the exercise.
