BREAKING! Delta 2023: Okowa Picks Oborevwori As Successor, Asks Otuaro To Stop Campaign
By Daniel Dafe
Publisher of Secret Reporters, Fejiro Oliver is out again with another of his revelations on who gets the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming guber election in Delta State.
In his latest post on his Facebook page, the investigative journalist said the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s anointed candidate.
In an earlier post some weeks back, Oliver had said that Delta Central whose turn based on the zoning arrangement to get the slot, will not get it, saying that Okowa is determined to keep a pact with Ijaw nation and handover to them when his tenure ends in 2023.
In his Monday post titled : ‘Okowa makes U-Turn on Delta 2023’, he added that Okowa’s Director of Protocol, Ifeanyi Eboigbe has been chosen to be Oborevwori’s Deputy.

Adding: “Barrister Kingsley Otuaro asked to stop campaign and announce step down.”
“Delta Political Vanguard to officially announce this soon,” he said.
If Oliver’s post is anything to go by, then Governor Okowa may have decided to also shun Chief James Ibori’s rumored choice of David Edevbie.
Fejiro’s claim may not be far from the truth because the Executive Assistant to the Governor On Communications, Barr. Fred Latimore, on Sunday morning in one of his features said “Delta State is Sherified”, a clue that the Speaker has been picked.
