Lifetime Achievement Award: N-Delta Stakeholders Congratulate SPDC’s Boss, Okunbor
Some stakeholders from oil and gas producing communities in Niger Delta region, have congratulated Managing Director, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN), Mr. Osagie Okunbor, over the Dr. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award in Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry for 2022.
The stakeholders, are members of Niger Delta Oil Communities Agenda (NIDOCA), pro-Niger Delta advocacy group.
In a statement on Monday, in Warri, Delta State, and signed by Pastor Emma Akpovoka, Director of Publicity, the group said: “Mr. Osagie Okunbor deserved the Lifetime Achievement Award considering his outstanding and notable contributions to the development of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry over the years.”

“It is good to always recognize and honour persons who have shown selflessness in service, patriotism and commitment to human and societal development, and that is where Mr. Osagie Okunbor is outstanding. Such recognition and honour would spur the recipients to do more for the society.”
The group also commended the organizers of Nigeria Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (NOG ’22), for the Lifetime Achievement award conferred on Okunbor, noting that as stakeholders in Niger Delta region, they would continue to canvass for peaceful and friendly environment for growth of the oil and gas industry.
Okunbor was honoured with the Dr. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award at the 21st edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (NOG ’22) held last Thurday in Abuja.
