NAPPS Delta Holds State General Meeting, Launches Online App, Others

The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Delta State, on Wednesday, held its 29th State General Meeting.

At the said gathering that took place at Christ Anglican Hall, Kwale, the Association launched NAPPS Online App, unveiled NAPPS Delta State Directory and dedicated a new official vehicle.


In his opening remarks, the State Chairman, Deacon Monday Ifoghere, noted that the past three months have been busy with Safe School Trainings, Children’s day celebration, NAPPS Cultural Day and holding of intra and inter State stakeholders’ meetings.

He continued: “Today’s meeting is much more like a conference. I tag it a ‘Mega State General Meeting. It is so named because history will be made today here in Kwale once again. I remember that NAPPS was officially given birth to in this city ten years ago and the naming ceremony was done in Asaba.”

According to him, NAPPS Delta State Directory is the first of its kind in the history of private schools in the state.

Continuing, he said that with the online application, “valuable information about NAPPS DELTA State and the individual member schools can be accessed all over the globe.”

Deacon Ifoghere also noted that with the newly purchased vehicle, there will be ease of movement in and outside the state as they carry out daily activities of the association.

Dignitaries present included the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Basic/Secondary Education, Mrs Rose Ezewu represented by the Chief Inspector of Education (CIE), Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Mrs. Mesharun Odjiyovwi, National Vice President (South South), NAPPS, Dr, Ochuko Akpeme and key elders of the association in the state.
