Okpe Union Inaugurates Board Of Trustees, Appreciates Okowa Over Support For Oborevwori
The Okpe Union in Delta and Nigeria in general, led by Prof. Emurobome Idolor at an emergency annual general meeting today Inaugurated its Board of Trustees.
The colorful ceremony held at Orerokpe Community in Delta State.
In an address, President General of Okpe Union, Prof. Emurobome Idolor said the apex Okpe social cultural body is currently witnessing increased interest in the number of expected new branches of the Okpe Union in places like Ughelli, Oghara, Udu, Abraka, Adeje, and Agbarho which are due for inauguration within the year 2022.
According to Prof. Idolor, “This is to strengthen the home base and enable the Union to achieve its purpose of establishment.”
Prof. Idolor also appreciated Delta State Governor, Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for the Commissioning of roads and bridges across Okpe kingdom especially for his commitment to the political support of the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Francis Orhowesor Oborevwori to become the Executive Governor of Delta State, come 2023.
