Ethiope East: Ogboru Congratulates DTHA Member-Elect, Akpowowo

Chief Skinn Ogboru has congratulated the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) Member-elect, Ethiope East Constituency, Olorgun (Barr) Arthur Akpowow, on his victory at the just concluded polls.
The Abraka chief who spoke to Oasis Magazine during an exclusive interview at his residence in the university town, described the member-elect as a very big brother.
In his words, “I really want to congratulate him again because he is one of my leaders in the local government.”
He added: “He was the person that took me to Sapele for declaration for the PDP. Even my meeting Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was through the efforts of Arthur Akpowowo. He has been a very good guide to me. There is nothing he will do that I will not support and he knows that. So I congratulate him again.”

He continued: “We trust him a lot. Before we voted for him, we trust him so much. People will now see the difference because we have sent many to the House of Assembly before and they have not been able to deliver but we believe that Arthur will work. We have so many work on ground in Abraka here and I believe that with him, a lot will be done.”
Speaking further, hr said that “one thing people do not understand is that once you are in the House of Assembly and you are in a good rapport with the state governor, anything you want will be given to you. So, I believe that Arthur will do that. We hope on him.”
