Glory Of Warri Central Motor Park Will Be Restored – Okudolor

The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (:NUTRW ), Warri Branch ‘ A’, Comrade (Chief )Vincent Okudolor ( JP ) has promised to restore the lost glory of the Warri Central Motor Park.
He made the promise in his keynote address during the commissioning of the union’s magnificent secretariat building at the motor park on Thursday, 24th August, 2023.
Okudolor explained that the promise was made in line with Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori’ s beautification agenda for Warri, disclosing that it was also his desire to restore the lost glory of the motor park.
He sadly noted that Warri Central Motor Park was the oldest in the defucnt Bendel State and that it is now a shadow of itself compared to what it was in the 70s.

The Okurode ( Ekurede), Agbarha Warri born unionist cum politician, disclosed that the magnificent edifice was a self-help project.
He also disclosed that commissioning of the secretariat was phase one of his beautification agenda for the motor park.
According to him, phase 2 of his beautification agenda is giving the motor park a facelift with the building of lockup stores around the motor park and with both army and police posts in ensuring maximum security at the motor park at all times.
He further disclosed that procurement of commercial vehicles for intra cities transportation was parts of his agenda for the delapidated motor park.
Okudolor had earlier appreciated Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the state chairman of the union, Comrade Francis Arhiyor ( JP) for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He was also appreciative to the host community of Otovwodo ( Agbassa) Community for providing an enabling environment for the building of the posh secretariat building.
The Delta State Chairman of the Union , Uvwie born Comdrade Francis Arhiyor ( JP ) who was ably represented by a member of Delta State trustee of the union, Comrade Benjamin Ebrusike in his remarks, stated that Chief Okudolor took the union by surprise with the building of the magnificent edifice within a short period of assumption of office.
He remarked that the performance of Chief Okudolor so far surpassed the performances of all his predecessors put together and that the union at the state and national levels were happy and proud to have Chief Okudolor as the chairman of Warri South Branch ‘ A ‘ of the union.
The commissioning was witnessed by a galaxy of leaders of the union in local government area as well as Warri South Local Government Council officials, community leaders, religious leaders, security agents among others.
High point of the epoch making event was the commissioning of the secretariat building by Comrade Benjamin Ebrusike.
