Graduating Students: DELSU Bans Wild Celebrations On Campus

The Management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has banned wild celebrations on campus by graduating students, friends and associates.
This was contained in an official bulletin by the institution on Thursday.
The said wild celebrations banned include driving on convoy, sitting on top of moving vehicle, excessive speed, pouring of wine, water and any other liquid substances and procession along the road, coupled with loud music and spraying of money.
The institition noted that wild celebrations had led to series of negative occurrences including accidents, deaths, violent attacks.
“The university management had made it clear that wild celebrations remain banned in line with the extant rule of the University.
“Consequent upon the above, graduating students are banned from indulging in these nefarious activities.
“Students and their associates are also warned not to bring in unauthorised vehicles into the campus,” the statement added.
