Woman Wanted Over Same Sex In Rivers Community

A community in Rivers State of Nigeria has declared one Mrs.Elohor Tessy Ejakpovi wanted over same sex act with her partner, Miss Anita.

The incident our correspondent reported happened sometime in June 2023 at Obio Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers state.

It was gathered that the said Mrs. Elohor Tessy Ejakpovi and Miss Anita were caught indulging in the act at the apartment of Elohor on that faithful day.

The ugly incident left the entire community in disarray which made the community leadership to have declared Mrs. Elohor Tessy Ejakpovi wanted, noting that she has committed an abominable act which is against their custom and tradition since the days of their forefathers.

Narrating the whole incident to the media, Chief Francis Obukome the community head said that what the women did was totally wrong, describing it as abominable and an act capable of incurring the wrath of the gods of the land upon the duo.

Chief Obukome added that when such abomination is committed by any indigene of the community, it is expected that the persons involved in the shameful act are to perform certain traditional rituals in order to cleanse the land ,so that the community can be free from calamity and avert the anger of their deity.

The leadership of the community while expressing dissatisfaction over the incident , told newsmen that Mrs. Ejakpovi has absconded from the community and she is nowhere to be found as at the time of filing this report, maintaining that the community is till looking for her at the moment.

In the same vein, the secretary of the community, Mr. Henry Jafia while expressing shock over the incident, said that she is still on the run.

He described the act as evil and capable of destroying the future of the youths who are leaders of tomorrow.

He however urged parents, community, appropriate authorities and the general public to wake up and give moral education to our youths.
