The Traditional Ruler of Onicha Ugbo in Aiocha North Local Governmen Area of Delta State, HRM Obi Chukwumalieze, has assured residents that the menace of Fulani Herdsmen in the town would soon be a thing of the past.

Obi Chukwumalieze who gave the assurance in his palace during an enlarged meeting of Ogbekenu people as well as non-indegenes in the community, urged the people to be patient with the Obi – in- council as the Fulani Herdsmen would vacate the community in no distant time.

He asserted that since the killing of Mr. Ifeanyi Izeke by the Herdsmen, the Obi-in -council had held series of meetings with security agencies to proffer intelligent ideas and modalities on how to vacate them completely from the community without further jeopardizing the life of any resident.

The Monarch used the medium to appeal to the youths to sheath their swords and not take the laws into their hands for the needed peaceful atmosphere to achieve the expected result.
