70th Birthday: Sapele Cleric, Bishop Ubaga, Gets Car Gift From Children
By Daniel Dafe
General Overseer, Holy Ghost Dunamis Mission, Sapele, Delta State, Bishop Patrick Ubaga, on Sunday got a car as birthday gift from his children.
A son to the cleric, Caleb Ubaga who took to his Facebook page to disclose this, recalled how in 2015 prior to his dad’s 60th birthday, the headquarters church decided to get him a Toyota Sienna car.
Adding: “However, just weeks before the event, news got to him and he told them that he would prefer a Highlander Jeep.”
According to Caleb, because the event was only weeks away, the leader of the birthday committee decided to reach out to another branch of the church in Sapele for support.
He continued: “However, because the pastor and some key members were already clandestinely planning on breaking away from the ministry, they did not see the need to support. To the extent that one of them said during their meeting that they should just take him to Foodland to buy him rice to the amusement of others.”
Caleb said one of those at the said meeting who was not pleased with some of the things they said, told him about the outcome of the meeting.
“I was vexed because this was coming from someone who was not just a member of the ministry but a close friend of the family,” he added.

He wrote further: “This pain propelled me to ask God to bless my brothers and I in a way that we would be able to buy our father a car without anyone’s support when he turns 70.
“Glory be to God that prayer has been answered. Thank you Jesus!”
Furthermore, he thanked his brothers, Joshua, Nehemiah and Tobi Fergacin Ubaga for joining forces with him to make this a reality.
