House Decries ‘One Chance’ Taxi In Abuja

The House of Representatives has mandated its Committees on FCT, Police as well as National Security and Intelligence to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the spate of kidnapping and armed robbery within the nation’s capital and report to the house within three weeks.
In a motion of urgent public importance, Representative Ismail Dabo lamented the death of his legislative aide, Miss Nimah Sulaiman who was brutally murdered on her way home by ‘one chance’ taxi operators around Bannex Junction in Wuse District of Abuja last Thursday.

While observing a minute silence for the deceased, the House denounced the resurgence of “one chance” Taxi operations in Abuja by unregistered and fraudulent operators, urging the security agencies to arrest the menace.
