NULGE Day: Ughelli LGA Boss Greets Comrade Nancy, Council Workers

“On behalf of the good people of Ughelli North Local Government Area, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Nancy Enakireru, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), and to the entire workforce of Ughelli North Council, on the occasion of NULGE Day celebration 2024.”
The council boss, Olorogun Barr Jaro Movudu Egbo Ksc, said this in a goodwill message on Thursday he personally signed.
He added: “This day marks a significant milestone in recognizing the invaluable contributions of local government workers in building a stronger, more effective, and accountable government. Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to service continue to strengthen the foundation of good governance at the grassroots level.

“As the Chairman of Ughelli North, I appreciate the critical role NULGE plays in advocating for the welfare and rights of workers, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to perform their duties effectively. I am proud of the progress we’ve made together in fostering a conducive working environment for all our employees.”
Continuing, he said: “On this special occasion, I reaffirm my commitment to continuing our collaboration, ensuring that the welfare of local government workers remains a priority. Together, we can build a more vibrant and progressive local government that benefits all citizens.”
