Agbarha People Are Pacesetters In Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom –Ovie

Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom in Ethiope East local Government Area of Delta State, HRM (AVM) Ochuko Ararile (Rtd.), Avwaeke 1, has commended Agbarha community, Umiaghwa-Abraka for their yearly visit to him, just as he called on other communities to emulate them.

The traditional ruler who spoke when Agbarha community paid him homage at his palace in Oria recently, described them as pacesetters in the kingdom.

According to the monarch, it was a thing of joy to host them every year, just as he thanked Agbarha for paying him homage yearly.

He continued: “I am always happy with Agbarha people especially the way the community comports themselves peacefully. Other communities are currently emulating Agbarha.”

Meanwhile, he hinted that he was satisfied with the Youth Carnival which held in the kingdom recently, saying there was no fighting or occurrence of any such.

He said that in the area of development in the kingdom, he met with the governor, saying he graciously approved the construction of the road to Uruagbesa.

He further disclosed that construction work has begun.

Adding: “Other roads have also being constructed around the palace.”

Furthermore, he reciprocated Agbarha Community’s good gestures with some bounties to enjoy the New Year celebrations.

Earlier, speaking on behalf of Agbarha community, Chief (Dr.) Basil Iwhiwhu, appreciated the traditional ruler for always standing by the community.

He recalled how many were given jobs.

In his words, the prayers of the monarch for the community have been working, saying the evidence are there for all to see.

Present at the occasion were the king’s wife, HRM Queen Isioma Ararile, the Oniemo of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, Sir Festus Eghwrudje, who is the Chairman of Agbarha Community Development Committee, Chief Vincent Eghwrudje, Pa. Benedit O. Ewuruje, Community Head and others.
