Sun Award: Senator.Ned Nwoko Congratulates Wife, Regina

The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the Senate, Ned Nwoko, has congratulated his wife, Regina Daniels-Nwoko who was honoured with The Sun Newspaper’s Nollywood Personality of the Year award.

The Nigerian actress and film producer, bagged the award on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

She was among 36 outstanding Nigerians honoured by The Sun Publishing Limited, publishers of The Sun Newspaper.

Taking to his Instagram and X pages, Regina Daniels’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, expressed profound joy over the landmark achievement of his wife.

Senator Nwoko congratulated her for standing out based on the “hard work and the impact”, she has made in Nollywood.

He wrote on Instagram:

“Congratulations, Regina Daniels.

A big congratulations to my dear wife.”

On X, Senator Ned Nwoko wrote thus:
“Congratulations to my dear wife Gina!

The event, which was the 22nd edition of the coveted awards of the prestigious national media outfit, was held at the Expo Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Adbullahi Ganduje, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Ojukwu who co-chaired the delightful ceremony.
