DELSU Extends Non-Teaching Staff Appraisal, Post-UTME Registration To July 31
The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has announced an extension of the appraisal period for non-teaching staff and the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to an official bulletin issued by the university, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, approved the extension of the online appraisal exercise for non-teaching staff until Friday, July 31, 2026.
The university explained that the extension was granted to provide another opportunity for staff who could not complete the online appraisal process before the initial deadline of June 24, 2026, due to challenges associated with the transition to the new online appraisal system.
All affected non-teaching staff have been advised to complete their online appraisal registration on or before the new deadline.
Similarly, DELSU has extended the sale of screening forms for Post-UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic session from July 15 to July 31, 2026.
The institution said the extension is aimed at accommodating prospective candidates who are yet to complete their registration. It also noted that the decision followed the upload of data for the 2026 Direct Entry candidates on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), enabling universities to process their applications.
The university urged all interested candidates to take advantage of the extension to purchase the screening forms and complete their registration before the deadline.

The notice was issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Directorate of Ceremonials, Information and Public Relations in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
