Dema Consults Labour Party Delta Central Executive In Udu

Udu, Delta State — August 22, 2026

The Labour Party Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Olorogun Dr. Mrs. Onome Bernice Dema, has consulted with the Comr. Okorodudu Emmanuel-led Labour Party Delta Central Executive as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The consultation was held at Permanent Camp in Udu Local Government Area.

Speaking during the meeting, Olorogun Dema expressed confidence in the Labour Party’s chances of securing victory in Delta Central in 2027, stressing the importance of unity, grassroots mobilisation and collective action.

She urged party leaders and members to remain committed to building a strong and united party structure capable of delivering victory at the polls.

The various Local Government Area Chairmen and party leaders who spoke at the meeting pledged their full support for Dema’s senatorial ambition, assuring her of their commitment to the party’s campaign and grassroots mobilisation efforts.

Comr. Okorodudu Emmanuel commended Olorogun Dema for her doggedness, commitment and continuous engagement with the party structure.

He described her engagement with party leaders and members as a positive step towards strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

The meeting was attended by Comr. Adu Okemute, Pst. Ken Okorie, Oghenechokor Lazarus, Onorbhime Glory, Comr. Peterson I. Dife, Kpangharo S. Lucky, Mrs. Glory Sodje, Hon. Engr. Tayo Samuel, Ojewe Omovekpuri, Obanovwe Simonpeter, Akpoduma Williams, Mwolaka Happiness, Anthony Dohltie, Opete Ejafkome, Annie Uchebra, Samson A. Onya, Godday Okosije, Dun Can Clarke, Delta Oghumu, Pst. Solomon and Edage Victoria.

The consultation is part of ongoing engagements by Olorogun Dema with the Labour Party leadership and grassroots structures across Delta Central as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
