Urhobo Youths Felicitate With Omo-Agege At 57

Urhobo youths under the aegis of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, have felicitated with the Deputy President of the Senate, Sen Barr Ovie Omo-Agege, on the occasion of his 57th birthday today, August 3.

In a statement jointly signed by the President, Comr Kelly Efemena Umukoro and Secretary, Barr Ehaoma Harry and made available to journalists in Ughelli, the ethnic youth leaders of Urhobo Nation said that they are glad that a shining light in the person of Senator Agege has risen to the top in his political career, saying that he is an uncommon lawmaker.

They added: “Today, all Urhobo youths join in the euphoria of the moment with Barrister Omo-Agege, his family, friends and political associates for the good health granted him by God.

“Senator Omo-Agege till date has remained vocal on national issues and has always lent his voice in the defence of his people, the people of Niger Delta and by extension to people of Nigeria wherever and whenever the need arises .

“Senator Ovie Omo Agege who is also known as the Obarisi of the Universe and the Lion of the Niger Delta region, indeed has every reason to celebrate today. His courage to face things squarely differentiates him from others.

“After each victory, he has never allowed the sound of victory to take him off the sight of his goal.

“His quintessential performance at the Red Chambers that has culminated him to earning the achievement of one of the Senators with the most bills passed into law makes us even more proud of him.

“We will continue to thank God for the life of our rep at the Senate and pray for more grace upon his life to go forward and even surpass all his records now.”

Adding: “Senator Agege we are proud of you and on this auspicious occasion of your birthday we say congratulations.”
