Yuletide: DSIEC Ward 2 Councillor Felicitates With Abraka People

The Councillor, DSIEC Ward 2 in Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State. Hon. Council Noble Ogboru, has felicitated with the good people of Abraka ahead of the 2024 Christmas celebration next week.

In a statement released on Wednesday, he said, looking back at year 2024 and the challenges, being alive to witness another Christmas celebration is a privilege that one cannot take for granted.

Ogboru said that the birth of Jesus should be a reminder that what was foretold will definitely come to pass, praying that the commemoration of Christmas causes hope to well-up within each and every indigene and resident in the community.

He also called on them to reflect on the love, kindness and virtues of peace which the birth and life of Jesus teaches.

Continuing, he promised to continue to represent the interest of the people and as well seek their welfare, just as he urged them to continue to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, noting that in less than two years of his administration, the positive impact of the MORE Agenda is visible for all in Abraka to see.

He prayed for more development in the community while calling on them to be well behaved and not get carried away with the celebration by getting involved with unlawful acts, saying crime does not pay.

“I wish them all a blissful Christmas and a prosperous new year,” he concluded.
