CLO Leleji Commends Matrix Energy For Empowering Host Communities, Widows With Millions Of Naira

Urges Firm Others To Focus On Youth Training Programme

In recognising the massive empowerment doled out to people of its host communities by oil and gas leading firm, the Community Liaison Officer, CLO to the leading indigenous oil and gas downstream retailer, Matrix Energy and immediate past Vice Chairman of Ifie-Kporo community Trust in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Austin Leleji, has commended Matrix Energy Group for empowering widows from the five host communities with over 10 million Naira in order to boost their businesses and survive their families frontally.

Comrade Leleji said Matrix Energy has shown capacity consistency and love for their host communities, noting that the financial support given to the women in the five communities will go along way in changing the narrative of the hash economic realities occasioned by the COVID pandemic across the country and the World.

CLO Leleji assured the company that they will help to monitor the usage of the funds in order to encourage wise investment and capital rake in business in returns for better profit making so as to attract more support from the firm.

He lauded Matrix Group Chief Operating Officer, COO, Mr. Luqman Salam Alada, for their firm’s kindness to the host communities, assuring them of their immense corporations always in making sure their operations experience smooth running without hitches as they continue playing cooperate social responsibility relations together with host communities.

The immediate past Vice Chairman of Ifie-Kporo community Trust described Matrix Energy as the best indigenous firm operating in their community, urging other firms operating in the area to emulate Matrix with their module of empowerment and venture into youth skill, training entrepreneur empowerment programme in order to carry the youths along for better engagement and self reliance dependency.

He pointed out that during the COVID-19 lockdown the company presented massive and colossal palliative to Ifie-Kporo community which was widely acknowledged both a member of the elders council, Pa. Francis Eyifoma, describing Matrix energy as lover of host community.

A total of 67 widows across Matrix Energy five host communities; Ifie-Kporo, Aja-Etan, Ijala-Ikenren, Ubeji and Egbokodo benefitted of the sum of N150,000.00 Naira each from the company to help support their various small scale businesses.
