JUST IN: Kidnappers Release DELSU Final Year Student After N3M Payment
Kidnappers have released the Final Year student of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Chris Oghojafor, after the abductors collected a ransom of N3 million.
Oghojafor, a student in the Department of Industrial Chemistry,
was kidnapped on Friday night in Abraka.
The kidnappers had earlier demanded N50 million from parents of the victim for his release but reduced it to N3 million after several pleas from family members.
“My son, Chris Oghojafor, who was kidnapped in Abraka by Fulani herdsmen, since on Friday evening, has just been released now. Glory be to God – J. Oghojafor Esq,” a message from the father of the victim confirming his freedom, stated.

Stonix News reports that the student, after payment of N3m, was released near Ugolo-Orogun by the railway in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, said earlier that the kidnap report hasn’t gotten to the command.
