2023: Koyoyo Unveils Tinubu Youth Disciples

Hon. Prince Koyoyo Uhrorho has unveiled a support group to back the presidential ambition of the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in 2023, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group, Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) was unveiled on Monday in Abuja.

Speaking during the ceremony, he said: “I am excited to have the privilege to welcome you to this auspicious ceremony of the formal unveiling/ inauguration of the Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD), an umbrella forum for the Nigerian youths (cutting
across the geographical zones of Nigeria, all the thirty-six states and local governments) who share the aspiration and ideologies of His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

According to the covener, the “Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) having carefully analyzed and studied the antecedents, track records, developmental strides and youth oriented governance of His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu have decided to come together in synergy to extensively support, the APC Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2023. The Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) is therefore a national organization with participation from every part of the country.”

He added that “the Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) is birthed to actualize the vision of the Nigerian Youths to effectively participate in politics, to mobilize, sell and canvas support for the Tinubu/Shettima mandate 2023. This group as an army of youths in support of the ideals and tracks records of His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We know well that he is good, dependable and reliable friend of the youths, having raised, nutured and mentored numerous youths to the pinnacle of leadership in this country.

“This Group Identifies the need for the youths to stand, galvanize and mobilize fellow youths in support of Tinubu/Shetima 2023 and to dispel the wrong notion that the Nigerian Youths are not in support of Tinubu/Shettima 2023. It is worthy of note that a great percentage of the Nigerian youths in politics are in the All Progressives Congress and are very ready to support the Tinubu/Shettima mandate. We hereby reassure the Nigerian youths that under Tinubu/Shettima the Nigeria of our dreams would be a reality.

“We the Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) regardless of tribe and religion have decided to support the Tinubu/Shettima mandate and the APC for being a democratic party which considered the diversity of this nation and actualized the laudable gesture of power shift to the south after the eight years of the north. This is commendable and we equally use the opportunity to wholeheartedly thank the Northern Governors for overwhelmingly supporting the power shift to the south.

“At this critical stage in our country Nigeria the sentiments that have divided and held us down as a country should be abandoned and put aside to build a better nation. By divine mandate, we were born Nigerians by tribe and nationality before religion was introduced, it is therefore awkward to promote the issue of religion to the detriment of our great nation. On the Muslim/Muslim ticket of Tinubu/Shettima, it is our take that what this country needs at this crucial time is competence and the ability to deliver. The problem bedeviling us today is not religion, hence the hullabaloo about the Muslim/Muslim Tinubu/Shettima ticket is unnecessary, politicized and misplaced.”

He continued: “We know the pedigree of Tinubu/Shettima, their level of competence, their passion for good governance, their desire for a better Nigeria. Therefore, we the Tinubu Youth Disciples (TYD) are standing firm and joining hands for the actualization of the Tinubu/Shettima Mandate 2023.“
