Philomena Darah For Burial December 20

The burial of Mrs. Philomena Opha Darah, the late wife of Prof Godini Darah, former Chairman, Editorial Board of The Guardian and Daily Times, will take place on Friday, December 20, 2019.
Mrs. Darah had passed on, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
According to a family source, the Service of Songs to be organised by St Paul’s Anglican Church, Ekete, will hold on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019 at Prof. Darah’s residence, No. 10 Onerena Street, Off Onos School Road, DSC Express Way, Ovwian. Kick off time is 4:00pm.
The funeral service to take place on Friday will hold at St.
James Church, Oviri-Olomu by 10:00am. The internment follows immediately at her
Ayi family compound, Opposite CAC Church, along Oviri-Olomu-Ewu Road,
Oviri-Olomu.
This will commence by 12:00
noon, followed by the entertainment of guests at Oviarien Primary School,
Oviri-Olomu.
