NUJ, Sapele Chapel Joins In Curbing COVID-19 Spread

While strictly observing the social distance practice, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sapele Chapel distributed hundreds of nose mask to residents, including market women in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State with a view to nipping the spread of the pandemic as part of its oversight social responsibility functions.

The chapel which assigned a few of its members for the distribution, also appreciated those who provided some of the mask, noting that the fight against the spread of the pandemic was the duty of all well meaning Nigerians.

Comrade Godwin Oghre, the chairman of the chapel while addressing members of the chapel of the NUJ at the Press Center, Sapele, expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Joyce Overah, the council chairman, Chief Enugene Okpeh Inoaghan, PDP chieftain in Sapele, Hon. Festus Pemu who jointly contributed the face masks to the chapel for distribution to members of the public.
