My CoS Died Of COVID-19 Complications— Kwara State Gov

The Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has disclosed that the cause of the death of his Chief of Staff, Aminu Logun, was COVID-19 complications.
In a tweet, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq said: “With total submission to the will of Allah, I announce the passing of my Chief of Staff, Aminu Logun (mni). We lost him this evening to complications from COVID-19.”
Describing Logun as “an industrialist, a public intellectual, and an elder statesman who diligently served the state,” he commiserated with the family of the deceased and the entire Ilorin Emirate.
Logun’s death was first announced on Tuesday via Twitter by the governor’s Special Assistant on New Media, Olayinka Fafoluyi.
It was gathered that Logun died at a medical facility in Ilorin, the state capital.
The late CoS was said to have suffered from a brief sickness before his demise.
Logun was appointed CoS by the governor in 2019.
