Only Equipped Youths Can Be Leaders Of The Society– Clergy

Worried by the rate of social vices among youths in the country, the Leading Pastor and Founder of Faith Ambassadors of Christ Church International a.k.a Grace Bowl, Pastor Vincent Udume, has advocated for the equipping of the youths with the Word of God to be better leaders of the society, just as he said the talents in youths can be tapped positively to add value to their lives and the society at large.

Pastor Udume stated this yesterday Sunday at a special service held in the church premises situated along Warri/Sapele Road opposite Oghene Plaza Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State

He said there is no other person billed to occupy the earth order than the children of God hence there is need to be akin to God’s Word in order to have a fruiful life.

He added that the bubbling energy of the youths should be redirected by involimg them in different entrepreneuring programmes in order to see that their energy is geared towards things that can make them have a worthy living instead of involving in nefarious activities that will bring shame and disgrace to them, the family and the society at large.

He said: “Youths are bubbling with energy, that when well harnessed, can be profitable to the.”

The clergy said it is because of this, on the 14th and 30th of the month of November, the church is organizing youths’ programme titled: “Stand Out.”

According to him, apart from building them (youths) on the Word of God, it will convert the talents (gifts) to resources, saying this would help to better their lives in the society.

He said: “An equipped youth can occupy the different state of leadership in the society.”

He said the programme is an entreprenueral development and would help the youths to generate income to put food on their table.

According to hm, “the programme is meant to enlighten the youths on the usefulness of worthy living.”

On the secret behind the speedy growth of the church, Pastor Udume said it is the words of God which are being spread by the church (reaching out through evangelism) and praying for the will of God to be done and His grace and God, at His time, has been increasing His flocks just as he gave glory to God Almighty in this regard.

On the high rate of kidnapping which is rampant in rhe society these days, Pastor Udume said those who engage in such crimes are under the influence of evil spirits and charged them to tepent so that
they are blessed or face eternal damnation.

He said: “Just as the God’s children are going about to repair, satan’s agents are out for destruction,” as he prayed for God’s touch on them “so they repent just like Saul who changed to Paul in the Bible or face everlasting damnation.”

The man of God who quoted many portions of the Holy Scriptures which include Psalm 24; 1Corithian 3:6, Isaiah 61; Mathew 24:13 among others said those who are yet to know God should repent and serve Him in order to have everlasting life.
