Okpe Union President In North America Donates Books To Erivwode Primary School

The President of Okpe Union, North America, Mr Edward Ederaine, on Tuesday, donated Mathematics textbooks, English textbooks, Handwriting textbooks and note books worth millions of Naira to Erivwode Primary School, Amuokpokpo, in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State as part of his self help project of lifting the burden of parents and guardians.
Presenting the textbooks and note books to the headmaster, teachers and pupils of Erivwode Primary School in Amuokpokpo, Mrs Charity Ederaine Tuvwe who represented the President of Okpe Union, North America, Mr Edward Ederaine, stated that this was to help in the little way of eleviating the plight of parents and guardians and also to compliment government effort in the educational sector.
“I was sent here by Mr Edward Ederiane, the President of Okpe Union North America and this is to encourage the Okpe child education”, adding that pupils should read their books and make use of the textbooks.

The Headmaster of Erivwode Primary School in Amuokpokpo community, Mr Thompson Adaitire while addressing journalists, noted that before now parents find it difficult to get books for their children and added that very few parents were able to get books for their children.
“I want to sincerely appreciate what the President of Okpe Union North America has done. Am so surprised because when I was the headmaster of Umiagwua primary school, the President Mr Edward Ederaine also came and distributed textbooks, notebooks and uniforms to all the pupils and we wish him long life and prosperity” he added.
Also speaking a pupil in primary 6, miss Obayendo Elohor, thanked Mr Edward for his love, as she prayed for God’s continuous blessings on him.
