Hon Victor Ofobrukueta Admonishes Teachers To Be Disciplined, Role Models

…Charges Pupils To Be Of Good Conduct, Morally Bred, Asked Others To Emulate Okagbare

The Chairman, Ethiope East Local Government Council, has appealed to teachers to be up and doing.

He gave the charge during the distribution of teaching/learning materials to pupils and staff of Umeghe Primary School, Abraka on Tuesday.

Addressing the pupils and staff of the institution, the Chairman who was ably represented by the Supervisory Councillor for Education, Hon Igho Iwhiwhu, said, “No nation grow and develop without adequate attention to education. Despite the fact that, times are hard, our brother here, Comr Kelly Okagbare places premium on Education hence he produced and distributed these learning materials to you. This is in line with the SMART AGENDA of the state government and VISION of the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East, Rt Hon (Pharm) OFOBRUKUETA VICTOR.”

Adding: “I implore you to make use of this learning materials because he who underestimates the power of education paves way for ignorance.”

Items distributed include: notebooks, pens, uniforms, sandals, etc.
