HOSCON Youths Extol Developmental Strides Of President Buhari

The entire leadership of Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas, HOSCON, youth wing in tandem with the national leadership of the organization, led by the Chairman, Prince Dr Mike Emuh, has passed a vote of confidence on the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari , for his fatherly love towards host communities as well as his timely resolve to bring to bear, the long awaited petroleum Industrial Act.

Youth Coordinator, National, State,and Local Government, Comrade Onyewenu lsioma, National Youth Secretary and Comrade Agadia Samuel Oghenegare, SA to National Chairman, on Youth Mobilization and Projects, made available to Daily Independent Newspaper remarked that the entire region is in good spirit and the people are still basking in the joy of laying to rest the issue of the PIB which is christined as the longest bill, ever in the history of Nigeria.
The HOSCON Youth body expressed delight as they acknowledged in their statement that more oil wells has been discovered and added to the reserves of the region, as their hope for development was brightened more, by the speedy and apt appointment of an illustrious son of the soil, Senator Ararume from Imo state to head the newly reformed NNPC.

According to HOSCON youths, the Ararume appointment made by Mr President, is one of the many great testimonies of his love for the Niger-Deltan and HOSCON communities at large.
The statement added: “As a happy people, full of expectations and hope for many more good days to come under this progressive and pragmatic leadership of the current government, of President Buhari, we the HOSCON Youths fully align ourselves with the activities of the government and pledge our unalloyed solidarity to the government of the day.”
The HOSCON youth leadership also extolled the high level of impactful representation provided by Honourable Minister for State Petroleum, Chief TIMIPRE SYLVA, Deputy Senate President, Olorogun Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, and the HOSCON Board of Trustees led by our amiable royal father , His Majesty ,Dr Alfred Ditte Spiff- the Amayanabo of Twon Brass ( the first military governor of old River State) as well as our Grand Patron and elderstatesman, the founding father of HOSCON, High Chief Wallington Okrika.
The HOSCON youths went further saying: “We cannot forget the very proactive 9th National Assembly for their efforts toward their harmonization on the resolution of giving 3% quantum of Petroleum production to the host communities, an act we consider as a step in the right direction for a people who have been crying and yearning for a comesurate development for the region that is the most blessed in the world, with resources that has fed this great nation for over 60 years now, still counting.”
The HOSCON Youths explained further that though they speak in view of an upward review of the allocated quotum in the nearest future, but they must first appreciate this great step taken at the moment by the leadership of
the country provided by the APC led FG, saying that they believe the approval of the 3% is far much more better than an endless clamour for a percentage that is not feasible at the moment.
