Concerned Abraka People In Politics Congratulates New Commissioner-Designate, Onos, Commends Okowa

The nomination of Okakuro Onoriode Eromedoghene Sunday, by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a Commissioner has been applauded by a group, Concerned Abraka People in Politics.
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday signed by Chief Professor Andrew Ekakitie, Hon. Anthony O. Edafiogho, Dr. Kings Okpako and Hon. Anthony Ajaino.
The statement read partly: “On behalf of the good, reasonable, progressive and development-oriented Abraka People in Politics, we wholeheartedly congratulate our brother and leader, Okakuro Onoriode Eromrdoghene Sunday on his well-deserved nomination as civil commissioner by our amiable governor, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
“Your nomination is a testament to your hard work, commitment and loyalty to the party and constituted authority. You have demonstrated Capacity, Determination, love and readiness to serve, for which we are very proud of you.”
Meanwhile, the body also expressed “profound appreciation” to the governor, who they refer to as OMONIESIRI meaning Our Good Brother of Abraka people.
Adding that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa found it worthy to appoint their kinsman and leader.

“Ekwueme, we are enormously exuberant in this gesture which establishes renewed hope, determination and commitment.
“Your Excellency, this appointment truly validates your STRONGER DELTA MANTRA. Indeed, you are finishing strong with an Abraka son in your cabinet, because he will contribute immensely to bring Abraka to its prime position in the committee of growing urban cities in Delta State.
“Thank you sir, for NOT PUTTING US TO SHAME,” the statement said.
