Sheriff Has No Chances At The Appeal Court

A Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Yemi Oke has stated clearly today, Monday, 24th July, 2022 on AIT Kakaki morning show that as it stands by law based on the clear judgement of Justice Taiwo O. Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Olorogun David Edevbie is the legal and authentic Delta state PDP Governorship Candidate and Flagbearer in the 2023 general elections until the judgement of the appeal court comes out

Oke mentioned that a mere Appeal Court notification order cannot stop a perfect declarative judgement coming from a court of competent jurisdiction like the Federal High Court, Abuja. He urged INEC to as a matter of urgency respect the law of Federal Republic of Nigeria to dutifully recognise and publish the name of Olorogun David Edevbie on the INEC portal immediately.

Oke asserted that after reading the judgement and with the ample and abundant evidence on ground, he does not see anyway whatsoever that any Appeal Court Judge will not disqualify Sheriff and that he has been following the case keenly since it started.

Oke opined that INEC will do the right thing very soon.
