Return Books In Your Possession Or Face Penalties, DELSU Tells Defaulting Library Users

Vice Chancellor, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Professor Andy Ogochukwu Egwunyenga, has granted amnesty to staff and students of the institution who violated the law governing the use of the university library books by being in possession of the said books longer than the stipulated time.

This was contained in an official bulletin released by the Public Relations Office of the institution on Wednesday.

According to the statement, “this amnesty covers only those who will return the books in their possession to the university library not later than one week from the date of this publication.”

Adding: “For avoidance of doubt, all university library books in the possession of their users for more than the stipulated time allowed and are not returned to the university library on or before Monday, September 11, 2023, will attract penalties to the defaulters as enshrined in the university library law.”
