LG Polls: My Defection To PDP Made APC Lose My Unit, Ward In Sapele For First Time –Ayomanor Boasts
By Daniel Dafe
Former Deputy State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and one time Acting State Chairman of the party in Delta State, Elvis Ayomanor, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which he now belongs to won his unit for the first time after his defection from the APC.
Recall that council elections held in the state on Saturday.
Ayomanor who is presently a Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Project Monitoring and Audit, took to his Facebook page to disclose the development.
His post reads: “I am from Ward 7 Unit 8, Sapele LGA. Today is the first election I’m working for PDP. Before now while in APC, I never lost that unit or the ward for once to PDP in the history of voting. But from last year that I left APC, PDP won the unit and the ward, for the first time in history.
“Today that me and my people worked for PDP directly, PDP scored the total votes cast as I promised I would ensure. No other party scored one vote, their agents who were my boys back then in some of the other parties, even voted for PDP because of me, that they have decided to return back to me.
“I’m very happy and proud of my unit result. Now I’m happy and proud of myself and my people, I can now smile home to relax with a bottle of wine.”
