Ogedegbe Brokers Peace Between Kokori Community, Fulani Cattle Rearers
In a notable effort to foster peace in Ethiope East, the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe JP, facilitated a successful peace meeting between the Kokori community and the Fulani cattle rearers.
The meeting held at the council secretariat in Isiokolo included key representatives from the Department of State Services (DSS), the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Isiokolo divisional police State and Members of the Kokori council of Chiefs.

During the meeting, all parties engaged in constructive discussions aimed at addressing and resolving the ongoing conflicts.

The successful mediation underscored the commitment of all involved to work towards a harmonious coexistence and reflected the proactive role of local governance in conflict resolution.
