In the last days, the Holy Bible warns about the nature and operations of false teachers. These individuals will arise from within the church (Acts 20:30), possessing knowledge of God’s Word but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:5-7). They are called antichrists, not because they don’t know Christ, but because they stand against His authority (1 John 2:18-19).

Shockingly, these false teachers were once part of the body of Christ, having tasted the power of the gospel and experienced the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 2:20-22). However, they were eventually seduced by the lusts of the world and began to attack the very gospel that once brought them light (Hebrews 6:4-6).

The Scriptures caution us that these false teachers will:

1- Arise from within the church (Acts 20:30).
2- Distort the truth to draw away disciples (Acts 20:30).
3- Secretly introduce destructive heresies, denying the sovereign Lord (2 Peter 2:1-3).
4- Be knowledgeable in God’s Word but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5-7).
5- Stand against Christ’s authority (1 John 2:18-19).
6- Have once been enlightened but fall away, unable to be brought back to repentance (Hebrews 6:4-6)

Believers, beware!
False teachers will come from among us, seeking to deceive and lead astray. Let us remain vigilant, grounded in God’s Word, and faithful to His truth, lest we fall prey to their deceit.

There’s a gross misconception about Dr. Abel Damina’s intentions and goals. While he was instrumental in Nigeria’s church revival, particularly in northern Nigeria, his current state raises concerns. Once mightily used by the Holy Spirit, with remarkable miracles in his crusades, Abel has lost touch with the Holy Spirit due to pride (Proverbs 16:18, 1 Timothy 3:6). Abel Damina is consumed by bitterness, as the anointing has left him and is now resting on those he once considered inferior. His teachings now focus on theology rather than the gospel, lacking the Holy Spirit’s aura (2 Corinthians 3:6, 1 Corinthians 2:4-5).

His teachings are saturated with bitterness, similar to Saul’s attacks on David (1 Samuel 18:6-11, 26:2). When the anointing left King Saul, he began to fight David, God’s chosen. He was angry that David, who served him, killed the Goliath he couldn’t defeat. He resented the people’s praise for David, not him. He was enraged that his own son loved David, and so he set traps to kill him. Saul stirred up his men and tribe of Benjamin to hate David, hunted him, discredited him, and made malicious allegations. Saul indirectly fought the anointing that once made him great.

Today, Abel Damina twists scriptures to counter other servants of God, seeking sympathy from the spiritually ignorant (2 Peter 3:16, Matthew 22:29). His claims of fresh revelation lack biblical merit (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Revelation 22:18-19). There’s nothing new in his teachings. They appeal to logic rather than spiritual growth (1 Corinthians 3:19, Colossians 2:8). Damina is like a drowning man fighting to stay afloat. Let us be cautious of false teachings and remain grounded in God’s Word (1 John 4:1, Acts 17:11).
