The families of Iriferi Efiokpovwonron of Oria Abraka and Ighofimoni of Okurekpo both from Ethiope East LGA Delta State have announced the burial date for the  Urhobo Music Highlife Legend, Late Chief. Dan Sally Young Efiakpovwonron AKA. Ezenikokoroko also known as Oredekorogbanedjor.

According to the announcement, while the Service of Songs will hold on Friday, 18th October, 2024 at his residence, No 2, Odumere street, Oria Abraka, the interment will hold on Saturday at the same venue.

Chief Dan Sally Young Akpor was born in Oria-Abraka in the year 1932. He attended RCM School, oria abraka for his primary education. Chief Sally Young joined the Nigeria military in 1966 and due to his dancing skills he joined the Tigar Dance Band until he retired in 1974 as Warrant Officer 2.

On retirement, he joined a music band in Eku known as Glory to Glory. He later moved to Sapele and at Sapele, he started food vendor business along Sapele New Road.

He also continued his music carrier in Sapele until he retired to his home town Oria-Abraka in 2005 where he partially continued his music carrier but this time accompanied musicians to hustle.

Chief Sally Young has inspired many people into highlife music.
He is married with children.

Among the songs that made waves include: Oko Oko, Austerity Dey Kill, etc

Chief Dan Sally Young died at 93.
