Abraka Indigene Calls Out Kingsley Esiso For Allegedly Abandoning Road Construction In Community

An indigene of Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Michael Imonioro, on Tuesday accused the immediate past Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Chief (Barr) Kingsley Esiso, of abandoning the Abraka-Obiaruku expressway road construction project.

According to a post on Facebook, Imonioro, said the governor awarded the Abraka- Obiaruku expressway road contract to Esiso, stating that it has been abandoned for over a month after work commenced on the road recently.

He added: “Over this time, nothing meaningful has been done on that Rd. At this moment, the contract has been abandoned by the former state chairman, Kingsley Esiso. The pedestrians, transporters, even those residing in those areas, the Okada riders are suffering the dusty nature of that abandoned Road construction.”

He continued: “From my findings, the construction company is owned by the former PDP DELTA STATE Chairman, chief Esiso of PDP.

“The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) was to commence the construction of the Abraka Obiaruku expressway before the state government came to hijack it. Now it has been abandoned by the contractor, Chief Kingsley Esiso.”

“I Comr Michael Imonioro call on Esiso to go back to the site for the completion of the abandoned NUT to Abraka main junction that was awarded to him by the state government.
The signpost billboard is there for everyone to confirm the contractor that was giving the contract.

“The wickedness to my community, Oruarivie Abraka from the state government is becoming something else.”

Attempts to speak with Esiso at the time of this report proved abortive.
