Speaking during the ordination service, the guest speaker, Rev. (Dr.) Jonathan Ihwighwu, President Ethiope Delta Baptist Coference, called on the newly ordained to be biblical and not just Baptist deacons.
Rev. Ihwighwu who took his text from Romans 16.1-2, described a biblical deacon as saintly, servants (to God, the pastor and the church), brotherly in their conducts and succorers.
Earlier on, the host pastor led those to be ordained in proclaiming the Litany of Commitment and Code of Ethics and then the guest speaker led the special prayer of dedication for the ordained.
