Management Forum: We Run Community Based Programmes, Says Chairman By John Tega

The Chairman, Management Forum, Mr. Jefferson Oruoghorie has said that the group has carrying out community based services as her primary function.

Mr. Jefferson who spoke to Oasis Magazine (OM) during an exclusive interview during one of her many philanthropic exercises said that they are on a mission to assist the government in the little way they can to meet the basic needs of several communities.

He added: “Our operations are not limited to Abraka, hence  it is Management Forum, Nigeria, not Abraka.

“We have operated for the last 5 years, but got very serious during the past two years and also decided to standardize the group.”

According to the group’s head, they intend to engage in educational services like organizing quiz competitions, providing uniform for pupils and students, purchase of text books for learners, etc, adding that a committee has been setup to strategize how to achieve these.

Continuing, he disclosed that intending members must be professionals in any field and be 30 years and above, saying that they have members in Asaba, Warri and across Nigeria and will start opening chapters as soon they get sufficient members.

He also was quick to add that they were not politicians and do not have political ambitions.

During their recent exercise in Abraka, they embarked on tarring the failed portions of the Campus 1 Road to General Hospital, putting asphalt and the planting of a signpost at the main market in the said town.
