He stressed: “We ought to have seen the best of the best today,” as he called on the executive of the department to get lecturers more involved next year.
He said: “Next time the students must make sure that the programme is well publicized to enable more contestants participate so the programme can look more interesting.”
On his part, the president of ATAS, Benjamin Edewor, said that they added theatrical performance to this year’s programme to make it look different, saying that this was the first dance fiesta to be witnessed during a student’s week in the department.
According to him the contest was a medium for students to express their potentials to the university community, adding that it was a platform for young aspiring and creative students to show what they have got to offer.
He called on students in the department to think out of the box and not allow their environment limit them as they strive for greatness.
