2019: Urhobo Interest, Youth Dev. My Concern, Says Ughwanogho
Delta Central Senatorial candidate under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dr. Ovie Ughwanogho, has disclosed that the interest in developing Urhobo nation, and development of Urhobo youths will be his priority if voted into power to represent the good people of Delta Central in the National Assembly, come 2019.
Dr. Ughwanogho made this known at his home Town in Orogun, Ughelli North Local government Area of Delta State, while addressing a crowd of youths in Orogun over his ambition to vie for the Delta Central Senatorial seat.
According to him, if voted into power come 2019, “Accountability, transparency, education, the economy, agriculture will also be part of my concern, and l will open a foundation called Urhobo Development Foundation (UDF), where my constituency development project money, and other allowances such as my pay for wardrobe, car, furniture and others will be channeled to be used for the development of Urhobo where the youths, the women, the elders and leaders of Urhobo will be given tangible empowerment.”
“Why l am also in the race is to give the people of Urhobo nation a better and quality representation that will bring development, because over the years, those that were sent to represent Urhobo did not perform to the expectation of Urhobo nation, and if given the mandate come 2019, l will not disappoint in any way,” Dr. Ughwanogho assured.

He also advised the youths not to sell their votes because of money which they will spend instantly and suffer for a very long time, but to vote for a credible candidate like himself which can bring development to them.
On their part, the Chairman of Orogun motorpark, Mr. Michael E, Mr. Sunshine Ogbowan, Mr. Ugbeh Stanley and other youths who spoke, pledged their support for Dr. Ughwanogho come 2019.
The youths went further to endorse Dr. Ughwanogho to run for the senate, come 2019.
