My Administration Is Focused On Promoting Research In DELSU, Says VC

The Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka, Professor Victor Peretomode, has said that the focus of his administration has been to promote opportunities for research in various faculties in the institution.
The Vice Chancellor, who made this disclosure, while delivering his welcome address during the 6th international conference of the Faculty of Arts today in Abraka, added that: “The university recently approved TETFUND research grants to some academic staff from several faculties.”
According to Prof. Perotomode, the sponsorship of these academic staff was to fund research or those pursuing a masters or PhD degree.
He said: “The scholarship and research grants foreground the harmonious relationship between academic staff and university management on the one hand and the management and the state government on the other hand.”
