A 40-year-old lady, Izogie Queen Egbe, an indigene of Oredo Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria, is said to be on the run, after she was caught involved in a lesbian act with her friend, Faith Obasuyi.
According to a source from the family who does not want her name mentioned, Queen, fled Nigeria a year ago with her two daughters aged 14 and 12 and her whereabouts still unknown at press time.
Our source added that in addition to Queen’s involvement in lesbianism, a crime her country forbids which attracts a 14-year-jail term for any offender, she disclosed that her sudden disappearance could be traced to her refusal to yield to attempts by her husband’s family that want her eldest daughter given out in marriage and the other circumcised.
This, we gathered Queen openly opposed.
When contacted, the husband of the said lady, Chief Kennedy Osagie confirmed the reports, and vowed to legally deal with his wife whenever she has found.
Continuing, he said that the case of lesbianism has been reported to the police, saying that his family members are bent on humiliating her also whenever she is found.
Also, the family members consider her offences as grievious and even threatened to kill her.
The whole community is in support of jungle justice which she narrowly escaped before she went underground.
