The Christian Community In Delta Will Miss Bishop Emuobo — PFN Chairman
By Daniel Dafe
The President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Delta State, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, has said that the Christian community in the state will miss the founder and leader of Gospel Trinity Church Incorporated, Ughelli, Bishop Diamond Emuobo who passed on today, 19th April, 2020 at 7:34 a.m.
Bishop Enakirerhi said this during a phone conversation with Oasis Magazine (OM).
He said: “We will miss Bishop Emuobo’s frankness and boldness to confront issues and tell you the truth fearlessly. He was a good counselor and adviser and was blessed with elderly wisdom.”
“His life can be described as one well lived. We believe that he has finished his job that is why God took him. He slept peacefully. He was not sick before he passed on and so he did not stress anyone. So, I can say that he died the death of the righteous just like the scripture shows us as declared by Prophet Balaam. He just said goodbye to planet earth.
“That is the kind of death I will like to die. Not by accident, plane crash or any mishap. He ate, took his bath and slept. It is a good death.”
While commiserating with the family, he called on them to take heart and find solace in God.
He added: “It is an irreparable loss, but they should remember that he only slept and we will meet him again someday. They should also remember that we are born to live, live to die and die to live again.”
To the church community, he urged them to always remember that “life is a test, trust and a temporary assignment.”
“We would leave here one day just as he left or when the trumpet sounds. Be careful how you live your life both in public and private and make sure that you are dedicated to God’s mandate for the church,” he opined.
