Covid-19: Western Delta University Gives Palliatives In Ethiope West LGA

Western Delta University, Oghara has reached out to their host communities in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Vice Chancellor of the Western Delta University, Prof. (Mrs.) Otete Cecilia Okobia
told journalists that the move came as a palliative measure to cushion the effect of the lockdown directive aimed at curbing the spread of the deadly Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic.
She added that the University is committed to the welfare of their host communities in Ethiope West and Delta state in general, noting that the institution will continue to do its best in this period of lockdown.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with newsmen expressed deep appreciation to the management of the University. They stated that the donation would help to alleviate the suffering of the masses as a result of the restriction.
